Road To Freedom
To mark the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, an influencer duo is traveling the historic route of liberation from Normandy to Leipzig, turning it into a social media road trip for young people in central Germany. The goal is to shed light on the end of the war and the Allied liberation, while also promoting the exhibition at the Capa House in Leipzig.

Honor, inform, connect
In spring 2025, the campaign specifically targeted young people aged 14 to 27 from Central Germany. The goal was to raise awareness of the Capa House and its exhibition through creative educational outreach. Engaging content was shared across various digital channels, generating not only strong reach but also encouraging active interaction. In this way, the topic was made visible in an authentic and lasting way – for a young audience eager to be informed and inspired.

A Journey Along the Allied Route
Instagram Stories, Reels, Feed posts, TikToks, and YouTube videos were produced along the route of the US Allies – with strong storytelling, visual impact, and a personal touch. The influencers not only shared their own perspectives but also presented the content with historical depth: through in-depth research, conversations with eyewitnesses, and insights from experts. The result was content that didn’t just show history – it explained it, contextualized it, and made it engaging.
